Atheros Released IEEE Compliant Powerline Homeplug Chipset

Atheros communication announced a new chipset that is compliant with IEEE 1901 standard. The new Homeplug AV-based chipset delivers more than 500mb per second. This is a two and a half improvement over what is on the market.
