Powerline Ethernet technology has been around for a while now, but it was just recently been accepted as a wireless replacement. The technology is very cost offective in that as a minimum, all you need are two homeplug. To setup you put one near your broadband router, and the other you plug into the nearest electrical socket to your PC, Laptop or netbook.

The powerline ehternet homeplug can also be used to provide internet or in home networking for your entertainment system, such as AV receiver and set-top box or any other appliance that require network connectivity.
